After evaluating what has sold in 2009 through October the Whitehouse market has held steady compared to 2008. With all other zip codes in the Tyler area falling (75701,75703,75762,75707, & 75771) in number of homes sold, the 75791 zip code has sold the exact same amount of homes in 2009 as in 2008 through October. Surprisingly, the 75703 zip code has had the biggest downfall in homes sold with a 21% decrease in homes sold. The largest decrease in 75703 has been in the over $400k price range. The over $400k price range has seen a 45% decrease in homes sold in 2009. Overall, the market in the Tyler area for 2009 (75701, 75703, 75762, 75791, & 75707) is down about 13% for the year compared to 2008.
